By car

North, on the highway A22 on the way to Bennero.
take the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit from the Brennero A22 motorway and continue along the state road in the direction of Bolzano until Ponte Gardena (about 10 km). At Ponte Gardena take the road for the Sciliar plateau /Castelrotto. After about 10 minutes you'll arrive Castelrotto... when you arrive Castelrotto you have to drive until the Konsummarkt (COOP Supermarkt), there you go on under the woodbrige and on the first street on the left side is our hotel Kastel Seiser Alm.

take the Bolzano Nord exit from the Brennero A22 motorway and continue along the state road in the direction of Brennero until Prato Isarco. At Prato Isarco take the road for the Sciliar/Castelrotto/Alpe di Siusi plateau. (Distance from the motorway exit to Compatsch/Alpe di Siusi: approx. 27 km.), when you arrive Castelrotto you drive until the Konsummarkt (Coop Supermarkt), there you go under the woodbrige and on the first street on the left side is our hotel Kastel Seiser Alm.

The IC and EC trains stopp in Bolzano and Bressanone. Our Busses bring you to Castelrotto or we have also a pick-up service from the train station.

An der Großwetterlage ändert sich nicht viel. Mit einer kräftigen Südströmung stauen sich an der Alpensüdseite sehr feuchte Luftmassen.
Vorhersage für morgen
Zunächst gibt es eine Mischung aus Sonne und Wolken. Am Nachmittag und Abend wird es wieder unbeständiger und spätestens in der Nacht auf Sonntag regnet es verbreitet.
Die Temperaturen erreichen Höchstwerte von 12° bis 17°.
Bergwetter
Auf den Bergen behindern Wolken häufig die Sicht, die Sonne kommt nur selten zum Vorschein. Am Nachmittag und Abend beginnt es von Südwesten her verbreitet zu regnen und zu schneien. Die Schneefallgrenze liegt um 2000 m Höhe, in der Nacht sinkt sie gegen 1500 m.

The entire Dolomites area which became a natural heritage site is of 142,000 hectares, with an additional buffer zone of more than 90,000 hectares. Worldwide, 199 scenic areas are on the UNESCO List of Natural World Heritage Sites. In Italy, the Dolomites are the second area of this type, joining the Aeolian Islands, which were added to the list in 2000.

Alpe di Siusi

The Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high-altitude plateau, is located in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 26th June 2009. This plateau, surrounded by the South Tyrolean Dolomites, is 33 km from Bolzano, above the famous villages of Siusi allo Sciliar and Castelrotto.
